Wilderness

shot this series for wrk recently after spending lot of off time in the woods this winter.

wildness, wilderness does several things. its a peace that exists nowhere else and it resonates as it does because we have that inside intrinsically. to get there all one has to do is sit and listen. works in a city park if you lay on the grass, or lay in the snow on your coat. dissolve thoughts into sky and you get to the same place. do that often enough and that peace stays with you everywhere you go. in every situation you are listening to your source.

We insist on permanency, on duration, on continuity

When you love someone you don’t love them all the time, in exactly the same way, from moment to moment. It is an impossibility. It is even a lie to pretend to. And yet this is exactly what most of us demand. We have so little faith in the ebb and flow of life, of love, of relationships. We leap at the flow of the tide and resist in terror its ebb. We are afraid it will never return. We insist on permanency, on duration, on continuity; when the only continuity possible, in life as in love, is in growth, in fluidity - in freedom.
